Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This page explains how JDM Engine Bay Inc. shares personal information and how you can opt out of the use of your information for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Section 1 – Our position
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We may share data with trusted service providers who help us run the store, such as Shopify, payment processors and shipping companies. They may use it only to perform those services and must keep it confidential.
- We use Shopify to support personalized advertising with third-party services based on your online activity with different merchants and websites. Depending on where you live, you may have a right to tell us not to share information about you for these targeted advertisements.

Section 3 – How to opt out
- Your Privacy Choices: opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Global Privacy Control: if you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control signal turned on, depending on where you are, we automatically treat it as a request to opt out for the device and browser you use. If we can link the device to a Shopify account, we apply the opt-out to the account as well.

Section 4 – Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make requests for you. Before we accept a request from an agent, we will require proof that you authorized them to act for you, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.
Section 5 – Your other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access and get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal requirements
- Receive a copy of your information and ask us to transfer it to a third party
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link
These rights are not absolute, and we may decline a request where the law allows. We may need to verify your identity before we process your request, and we will respond in a timely manner as required by law. If you have a complaint, contact us. Depending on where you live, you may be able to appeal our decision or contact your local data protection authority.
Section 6 – Children
Our website is not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. We do not have actual knowledge that we share or sell personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Section 7 – Shopify's own processing
Our store is hosted by Shopify. To help protect, grow and improve our business, we use certain Shopify features that use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. In these cases Shopify is responsible for processing your personal information.
