Payment Policy

JDM Engine Bay Inc. sells engines, transmissions and parts imported from Japan from our warehouse in San Leandro, California. All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). We ship within the United States, and you are welcome to pick up your item locally at our warehouse.

These payment methods are available at checkout:

• Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club
• Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay
• PayPal

Payments may be processed by third parties such as Shopify Payments, Stripe or PayPal. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply.

If you pay by check and your order is cancelled, a $25.00 fee applies.

• Product prices may change without notice.
• Shipping is not included in our item prices, which keeps our prices lower. Shipping and transportation charges are non-refundable, so please include them in your budget before you buy.
• Shipping options and rates for business or residential (with liftgate) delivery are shown at checkout.
• Engine prices cover the long block only (cylinder head and short block). Accessories attached for testing are free of charge.
• If we find an obvious pricing or listing error after you order, we will contact you, and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it before it ships.

• Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer.
• Personal and payment data is encrypted in transit.
• We use third-party payment processors that follow industry security standards.

Deposits are non-refundable.

• Orders usually ship the same day. Orders placed by 1 PM ship the same day.
• Tracking information is provided at purchase.
• If there is any delay, we will let you know right away.

• All sales are final. An exchange, return or refund is only considered if we posted incorrect Japanese specifications for the item by mistake.
• Orders that have not shipped can be cancelled. Cancelled orders paid by check are charged a $25.00 fee.
• Refused or returned orders are charged a 20% restocking fee on the invoice amount, plus return freight.

• We use your personal information to provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and to detect, investigate or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe or malicious activity.
• We may refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time, and we may limit sales to any person, region or jurisdiction.
